The University of Alabama awarded approximately 1,300 degrees during summer commencement Aug. 5. With a beautiful campus, hundreds of rigorous academic programs, world-renowned faculty and numerous opportunities for service and growth, The University of Alabama is a place where legends are made. The following students earned a position on the University of Evansville Dean's List for academic achievements during the Spring Semester 2018.
Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

104 Ithaca College students have been inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is the only national honor society which recognizes and encourages superior scholarship in all disciplines of higher education.
Seventy-two students in Ithaca College's Roy H. Park School of Communications have been inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the national communication honor society.
The Ithaca College Oracle Honor Society welcomed 180 new members at its induction ceremony held on Nov. 3, 2014.
Kent State continues strong university enrollment by welcoming a record-setting freshman class, in terms of size, diversity, and quality based on GPA. These academically motivated freshmen have an average GPA of 3.4 and an average ACT score of above 23.
The University of Findlay recently welcomed new undergraduate and graduate students to campus for fall 2015. UF's total enrollment is 4,200 students.
Over 90 students from Ithaca College have earned internships in Los Angeles, California for the spring 2016 semester.
39 Ithaca College students participated in the college's Alternative Spring Break program.
